26/FEB/2019 - Ticket Validation

Dear Customers,

We have added a new functionality in the system which allows users without ticketing permission to request a validation of their booking in order to ticket it automatically from an email request.

First of all, you need to go to Administrations > Company settings and activate the option "Allow request ticket validation":

Afterwards you will need to decide which users will have the permission "Allow user validate ticket", which will be able to receive the request from users without the permission "Allow ticketing":

You will need to create a new or select a template as default to be sent for the validation of the ticket, you need to go to Administrations > Ref Templates > Update ticket terms:

Now, when a user without the permission "Allow ticketing" will try to ticket a PNR, there will be a new pop window where the user can select which person to send the validation email:

It is possible to add an extra comment in the validation:

The user will receive an email to validate the booking, using the following option:

This will open a new tab in the browser with the confirmation of the validation:

And the PNR will be ticketed automatically.

Please notice that for CRS agents will be the same process but the validation will be sent to the user within the same agency with the permission "Allow User validate tickets"
