Search engine optimization is a methodology of strategies, techniques and tactics used to increase the number of visitors to a website by obtaining a high-ranking placement in the search results page of a search engine (SERP) — including Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines.

  • Multiple Languages:

A multi-language website is a site that offers content in more that one language, for example, an American company that has its website in English, Spanish and French.

  • URL Structure

URL should always be built without capital letters (Add website list and content images) and in a simple way. Too complex URL can cause a problem for the correct indexation of it. 

Additionally, a well-structured URL helps to improve the user experience and to provide a 'guide' of where the user is within the website.

  • XML site map

  • Anchor texts

Avoid the use of links with words such as 'read more', 'more info' and 'further'. It is better to add the relevant words 'Customer service' and link it to the correct page that refers to this information.

  • Use META description and META keywords

It is really important to add these parameters for your general site and for each one of the Website content pages.

A meta description has no direct SEO value, but because it is the text shown under the title in Google it is a very important text. The meta description must convince a user to click and the number of clicks (CTR) does influence on the positioning. With this, a meta description indirectly contributes to SEO value.

 A good description contains a maximum of 156 characters (including spaces) and the right keywords in different forms, responds to the wishes of the targeted market group.

Also, the usage of numbers and special characters (like &) excel from other advertising pages. 

  • Text content structure

The content of a website is a major fact in the SEO and the quality of your content pages plays an important role in the search engine algorithm. 

A good content should have a good semantic and rich media elements like Youtube videos and avoid too general terms.

A good text must contain at least 300 words. The ideal is a text of 500 or more words.

  • Use headers tags 

 Use the headers tags (h1, h2, h3, etc.) to logically organize the text.

The usage and organization of your content headers/titles to make it logically and more attractive to the customers. 

  • Images file name

It is advised to provide logical names to the files updated to your website (like images or PDF files). For example, an image name like 'ibizaview.jpg' is better than 'image001.jpg'.

  • Images description

A search engine has no eyes and only relies on information provided by the crawlers, by adding the alt texts (image description) this helps the search engine to determine if the image is relevant for the search query.
